Ronald McDonald House Dinner
The Salon 926 family along with other family members and friends gathered together to prepare a meal and leftovers for a hundred people. Without the serious help of Belinda and Jackie organizing and prepping the day before, this day could of never went so smooth.
We prepared 75 lbs of roasted chicken, 6 lbs of baked ziti, 6lbs of sausage and spinach pasta, roasted potatoes, steamed veggies, the largest bowl of salad you could ever imagine. To top off this feast, we had 3 different types of cookies, rice crispy treats, and brownies.
The five and half hours seemed to fly by and the night ended with all of us sitting down to dine with the families living in the Ronald McDonald house.

"Until There is a Cure.... There is the IMF"
Multiple Myeloma is a cause that is truly near and dear to our hearts. The entire month of September is dedicated to my father and his unsuccessful fight with Multiple Myeloma. We are hopeful that one day there will be a cure for this disease.
Myeloma is a complex, and often misdiagnosed, bone marrow cancer that attacks and destroys bone. Myeloma affects approximately 75,000 - 100,000 people in the United States, with more than 15,000 new cases diagnosed this year. While at present, there is no known cure for myeloma, doctors now have access to many new therapies that can improve quality of life and help patients live longer.

"People Cuts to Benefit Canines & Cats"
Together we raised $2592.00 for the rescue of animals.
Salon 926 along with Eminence Front hosted a benefit where all the proceeds went to the animals. Haircuts, facials, manicures, pedicures massages, and raffles were just half of what made this function work. Countless volunteers and of course cats and dogs made this day one to remember. Three cats and one dog left with homes while all the animals got plenty of love and attention.
